"The usual entertaining and, of course, entirely fictional account of the night’s proceeding will soon be available at this spot !!!!!!!!!!"

That’s what was written early Saturday morning. It is now Wednesday and recollections are dim on the previous Friday night’s proceedings. However here’s some stray remembrances…..

The crucial game between George and Brian was settled as expected with strange utterances of ‘baksheesh baksheesh’ to be heard in a bizarre Welsho-Hindustani accent. Other games finished within acceptable limits of expectations, with the most notable victory going to Mr Paul Evans over Harvey Q whose form appears to have deserted him totally.

Transfer commenced around midnight and was still going strong at 1am when there were still 9 players at the club. Joe Tarnawski was visiting for the second time this year and had a few lively struggles with George while Andrew, Paul & Harvey took it in turns at demolishing the sisters, and occasionally defeating each other. Fortunately there was no repeat of last week’s viral obscenity. Everyone went home around 1.30am, no doubt going straight home to research openings for next week’s first round of the Flood Cup.
